MPH Program

We are excited to welcome you into the Fall 2018 MPH cohort! We have exciting changes to our curriculum rolling out this fall, giving you the mindset and muscle to lead the charge on wicked population health problems.

Mandated by our accreditation agency, the School has taken the lead on implementing a new core curriculum that consists of 9- credit hours to include lectures and studios.

Public health takes a team. The complex problems of public health require professionals to understand and address issues from multiple angles and sectors. Leaders have to work across institutions. The Aggie MPH Core Curriculum requires students to tackle problems from day one. The case-based approach not only provides a firm foundation for understanding the social machinery and scientific underpinnings of public health, but it flips the switch to put that machinery into action.

The SPH Office of Student Affairs will register you for the new core classes (SOPH 601, 602 and 603). International students will be registered after you complete the check-in process with TAMU International Student Services upon your arrival to Bryan-College Station. For more information, visit our International Student Orientation website.
