Meagan grew up in Brainerd, Minnesota and went to the University of Minnesota Duluth, earning her degree in Biology and a minor in Anthropology and Philosophy. While in school she worked full time as a personal care aide and earned a position as a positive support specialist training other employees. She traveled when she was given the opportunity to work with microbiologists in Eastern Europe to study clean water availability and by doing missionary work in Kenya. After graduating she worked at St. Luke’s Hospital as a patient account representative at specialty clinics and urgent care locations. She also enjoyed volunteering in her community with health centers, as an assistant to the physician at MMA and boxing events, and as a scuba diver with the local aquarium and conservation society. Meagan enjoys traveling, running and gardening.
