After growing up in Houston, Trey Wilson attended and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in health science in the spring of 2016. Throughout his undergraduate career, he was a very active member of campus. He was appointed by the dean of the School of Health Professions (SHP) to serve on the SHP Diversity and Inclusion Task Force, where he worked with a small group of faculty members focused on developing solutions involving the retention and recruitment of students from underrepresented groups. He also served as a volunteer driver for STRIPES Safe Ride to provide safe late-night rides to students on weekends. Wilson was a visible figure at the Student Rec Center as well. He was as a finalist for the Team Mizzou Spirit Award, an award that recognized him for his energetic and positive workplace attitude as an intramural sports supervisor. He has also been recognized as an all-state referee in both football and basketball in Missouri. Wilson is a huge sports fan and spends much of his spare time playing or watching football, basketball and baseball.
