Class of 2018
BS Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Managment
Originally from Tennessee, Jordan Beeler moved to Aiken, South Carolina, at the age of 9. After several years of training, Beeler received her black belt in Tang So Do and began to teach classes for others. While still in high school, Beeler worked part-time at a local physician’s practice and was immediately intrigued by the medical management field. Two years later, she started her career at Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina, to pursue her business degree. During her time at Lander, she worked for the Department of Housing and Residence Life as a head resident assistant, overseeing seven staff members who were responsible for over 300 students, and for the Office of Admissions as a presidential ambassador giving tours and assisting with recruiting new students. Her senior year, Beeler graduated Magna Cum Laude from the honors college. She was honored to receive the President’s Award — the highest Lander award possible. In addition, she also received the Health Care Management Award, the Presidential Ambassador Superior Senior award, and the Resident Assistant of the Year award, among others. Beeler enjoys volunteering with children and spent over 400 hours tutoring children and improving Lander’s campus during her years at the university. Her hobbies include reading, baking and traveling.
