Doctor of Public Health (DrPH)

The Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) is an advanced professional degree for those whose career goals are in the area of professional practice in public health, including current and potential leaders in the public health practice. Applicants may choose among two programs — the DrPH in health promotion and community health sciences and the DrPH in epidemiology and environmental health. Applicants choosing the epidemiology and environmental health doctoral program will focus on either epidemiology or environmental health as a primary concentration area.

This degree prepares candidates for a career in high-level administration, teaching, or practice, where advanced analytical and conceptual capabilities are required.
