The mission of Career Services is to support and advance the career and professional development of the Texas A&M School of Public Health's students and alumni.
Career Services is here to assist students in the realization of their public health career potential and goals. We offer comprehensive career and professional development tools and strategies to maximize the success of their efforts.
Career Services provides coaching related to:
- Exploring career options
- Crafting job search marketing materials
- Networking and interviewing
- Evaluating offers and negotiating salary
- Transitioning from graduate school to professional or academic positions
We welcome the opportunity to partner with employers as they seek exceptional talent with public health expertise. If you are interested in connecting with our students, email Jessica Newcomb or call 979.436.9383.
Every time I attend a career services event, I expect to leave as an improved version of myself. During my first semester, I attended several, and I have never been disappointed.
Through engaging with the career services early on in the program, I have been able to prepare for my future, have more opportunities, and be more involved with the Texas A&M School of Public Health.
