Kevin Reed is a founding partner at the Austin law firm of Reed, Claymon, Meeker &Hargett, PLLC. Prior to founding his own firm, he was a co-managing shareholder at the Austin law firm of Davis & Wilkerson, PC. Reed has practiced health law, including issues related to hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers, for more than 20 years. Reed is Board Certified in both administrative law and health law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is a past chair of the State Bar of Texas Health Law Section. Reed serves as a member of the Health Law Exam Commission for the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, where he helps write the annual examination for attorneys seeking Board Certification in the field of health law. Reed has also served as general counsel for the Texas Organization and Community Hospitals for more than 15 years.
For the last three years, Reed has been recognized by Texas Monthly magazine as one of the top healthcare attorneys in the State of Texas.
